AfterLoss, Inc. In 1989, W.L. Smith & Associates Limited worked alongside AfterLoss to publish several publications. To date, over 3.500,000 publications have been sold around the world. In 1995 the company began distributing grief recovery material for the California based firm. The aftercare market had become so explosive at that time, that when the opportunity became available they decided, through their parent company QDC World, to purchase the AfterLoss Group. That transaction was completed in 1997. The company maintains offices in the Los Angeles area with customers across the United States, Australia, Canada and the U.K.. In late 2000, AfterLoss, Inc. launched their line of Funeral Stationery, modelled after the W.L. Smith & Associates' line in order to leverage the AfterLoss brand in the U.S. market. The response was very positive. |
